Foster Care Program
If you have space in your home and your heart, please fill out the foster form below and we will get you set up with your foster shelter pet(s)!
Foster care is a temporary arrangement in which a shelter animal is cared for in a volunteer’s home prior to adoption.
Our foster program allows dogs and cats to receive specialized care beyond what we can provide in the shelter.
A variety of animals require foster care, including animals that are newborn, orphaned, pregnant or nursing, under-socialized or untrained, special needs, and more.
A home visit has been waived at this time due to the current crisis, however that is subject to change. So please be flexible.
Foster volunteers must provide proof of current vaccinations for all pets in the household at the time of fostering.
All foster volunteers must abide by the volunteer code of conduct, comply with the foster care agreement and contract, adhere to zoning and animal control ordinances, and be 18 years or older.
Questions? Contact our Foster Coordinator, Lissa – firstname.lastname@example.org.
